Sonic Automotive reported financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, showing an 8% boost in revenues to $3.9 billion year over year.
It also had a second quarter record total gross profit of $616.2 million, up 2% year-over-year.
Sonic also reported net income in the second quarter was $57.4 million, up 226% year-over-year ($1.79 earnings per diluted share, up 234% year-over-year).

EchoPark delivered double-digit unit volume growth and second quarter record gross profit, while Powersports achieved record second quarter revenue and gross profit.
