Auction Makes Changes

By Staff Writer January 29, 2020

Following the acquisition of the Fort Wayne Auto Truck Auction last September, the Indiana Auto Auction has made some key additions to its managerial staff, reports the auction’s managing partner, Kevin Brown.

Brown said consignment and sales from the acquired facility were merged into existing operations at Indiana Auto Auction, expanding both the auction’s sale volume and customer base and prompting the addition of new staff members. The newcomers to the Indiana Auto Auction staff include Robin Nickols, sales manager; John Weisemann, heavy duty truck manager; and Nick Schenkel, operations manager.

The auction has just broken ground on a 10-acre site, dedicated for sale-day parking, which will be completed by April 1. The auction is also adding to its own truck fleet to facilitate the increases in transport of both autos and trucks. To augment its services on the fleet/lease side of its operations, the auction is installing a new automatic car wash.
