Subaru Talks Environmental Impact Featured

Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) released its inaugural Corporate Impact Report detailing the company’s efforts to address its environmental impacts on the communities where Subaru employees live, work and serve; and to make Subaru the best place to work.

Highlights from the inaugural report include: Subaru was named Kelley Blue Book's Most Trusted Brand for five years running; it continues to receive 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign Equality Index year over year; and employees participated in over 170 volunteer events, donating over 7,300 hours to serve their communities. The company claims it has saved 3,900,000-quart bottles from the waste stream by the bulk oil and coolant programs. It has  diverted 4,500,000 pounds from the landfill through a partnership with the National Park Foundation. It has invested $4,000,000 philanthropic support in Camden, N.J, since 2016 and donated $840,325 in grants to the Camden community, among other efforts.
