A Pennsylvania car dealer faces hundreds of charges of fraud after allegedly forging or falsifying title applications, according to multiple reports.

Michael Lee Humbert, 45, of Hanover, Pa., owns Ideal Auto Sales and Service, LLC, which is located in Adams County, according to charging documents filed by Pennsylvania State Police.

The initial report filed in March came from a customer who had purchased a truck from the dealer in February but had yet to receive the title. The customer’s paperwork showed “several questionable entries” according to police and the dealer was audited by the state’s Department of Transportation for its title transactions. Nearly two dozen other false/forged titles were found during the initial investigation. Police report that the dealer also allegedly had late taxes/fees and unpaid taxes.

News reports showed the suspect, who now faces over 100 charges, was released on bond.
