State Revokes License for Ignoring Rules

By Staff Writer May 28, 2019

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Division of Motor Vehicles recently revoked a used-car dealer’s license for failing to meet the state’s requirements for selling vehicles.

The order, issued by the Wisconsin Department of Administration’s Division of Hearings and Appeals, determined that McCoy’s of Green Bay failed to perform vehicle inspections prior to selling vehicles and/or display buyer’s guides on vehicles, failed to use purchase contracts and failed to disclose service fees to customers.

McCoy’s of Green Bay’s license was revoked effective May 19.
