Honda Recalls Motorcycles

Honda is recalling certain 2018-2021 GL1800 Goldwing motorcycles. The primary drive gear bolt on the crankshaft may break, which can result in an engine stall and lock up the rear wheel.

The NHTSA campaign number is 24V820000.

The potential number of units affected is18,196.

Dealers will replace the primary drive gear bolt, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Dec. 20. Honda’s number for this recall is KQ9.
