Independent dealers from across the nation will serve as the voice of the industry during meetings with dozens of members of the U.S. Congress at the NIADA Policy Conference.
The conference begins Sept. 23, at the Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City in Washington D.C. and runs through Wednesday, Sept. 25 and the much-anticipated Day on the Hill.
Independent dealers will discuss with lawmakers during the Policy Conference:
“The Policy Conference is one of the best events of the year. It’s a fantastic opportunity for dealers to come to D.C. and interact with their representatives and senators and hear from the regulators in D.C. about the laws and regulations that impact our business,” said Don Griffin, President of CarHop Auto Sales.
A select group of dealers will meet with the Federal Trade Commission and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Tuesday and share information about their visit during a general session.
Nearly 20 lawmakers will attend the NIADA Congressional Reception Monday at the Capitol Hill Club.
U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (Alabama) will speak the beginning of the NIADA PAC Dinner Tuesday, Sept. 24.
