The American Legion Department of New Jersey presented Manheim New Jersey with its 2023-24 Employer of the Year Award at a ceremony held earlier this month. The auction, located in Bordentown, was recognized for its dedication and commitment to veteran team members including an annual breakfast each November to honor employees who have served. This past year’s event featured Brigadier Gen. James F. Porter from the 99th Readiness Division in Ft. Dix, New Jersey.

“Veterans are an integral part of our auction’s success,” said John Eriksen, General Manager, Manheim New Jersey. “We appreciate all of their contributions, and are honored to recognize them, and be recognized by such an incredible organization.” The American Legion is the largest wartime veterans service organization and was instrumental in the passage of the original G.I. Bill and creation of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
