
Workers at two of Ford’s assembly plants have voted against the tentative labor agreement between Ford and the UAW. The contract was rejected by 55% of production workers at the automakers assembly and truck plants in Louisville, Kentucky on Monday Nov 13, while skilled trade workers at the same plants voted 69% in favor of the deal UAW, Local 862 said in a Facebook post.
According to the UAW’s vote tracker over 70% of Fords workers have voted in favor of the new contract so far. Workers at some of the company's major plants including the Dearborn Truck plant in Mich. haven’t voted yet.
