ACERTUS, the automotive logistics platform, has appointed Ross Rachey as its new chief operating officer.

Rachey’s appointment follows the shift in focus of former COO, Jason Caporrino, who will head ACERTUS’ newly formed Mergers and Acquisitions Team dedicated to expanding the company through strategic partnerships and investments.

In his new role, Rachey will serve as the strategic leader of operational excellence and leverage his extensive experience in automotive logistics, electric vehicles and distributed energy deployment. He is the former leader of Amazon’s Last Mile Fleet, where he scaled fleet logistics and led one of the largest-scale EV and distributed energy infrastructure deployments.

“ACERTUS is pushing the industry forward when it comes to EV and ICE vehicle logistics by investing in infrastructure, automation, and technology,” Rachey said.
