Reinsurance Firm Sponsors F&I Bootcamp

By Staff Writer September 21, 2022

Automotive Reinsurance Concepts will bring the knowledge and experience of its F&I experts to independent retail dealers and their finance managers.

The F&I Basics Bootcamp schedule for Nov. 9-10 at the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis, features ARC founder and CEO Justin Osburn – a former dealership owner, finance manager and lead instructor of NIADA’s Certified Master Dealer course – and F&I guru “3K” Cory Collins, ARC’s director of sales.

“I bleed independent retail,” Osburn said, “and over the years I’ve recognized there just isn’t a lot of high-caliber training available in F&I for those dealers. So once Cory came on board, we spent months developing a series of F&I training programs that make a real difference in their profitability.”

The F&I Basics Bootcamp – the first step in ARC’s three-part series of F&I certification courses, followed by intermediate and advanced – is focused on the four essentials of F&I sales.

That includes how to do a successful T.O. – the turnover – as well as a solid menu presentation, primary and introductory objection handling and basic deal structure.

“That’s the core of what this program is all about,” Osburn said.

“I knew it was great when we built the program, but I was blown away by the results,” Collins said. “We have sales associates coming out of our basics class who have never spun paper in their life running $2,700 a car their first week in the box. It’s a testament to our commitment to bringing real value to these dealers and their operations.”
