By Staff Writer June 15, 2022

Northwood University is pleased to announce Michael James Stanton Jr. has joined its Board of Trustees.

Stanton was named the National Automobile Dealers Association’s president and CEO in 2020. The trade and industry association represents dealers in government relations, provides education and guidance on regulatory matters, develops research and data, provides training and learning opportunities, and operates a charitable foundation.

Prior to being appointed as CEO, Stanton served as chief operating officer of NADA, where he oversaw daily operations of the association. Prior to that role, he served as vice president and chief operating officer of the NADA Used Car Guide, which was sold to JD Power in 2015.

“We are honored to have Michael join our board,” said Board President Jennifer Panning, president of Artisan Tile. “Michael’s addition to our Board of Trustees is the latest development in a long-standing relationship Northwood has had with NADA. We look forward to his contributions to our board and thank him for his service.”
