Nissan Announces Recall

By Staff Writer July 08, 2021

Nissan North America is recalling certain 2021 Rogue vehicles. The potential number of vehicles affected is 47,098.

The second-row upper tether wires may have been improperly welded to the seatback frame, preventing a child seat from being securely anchored. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 225, “Child Restraint Anchorage Systems.” Dealers will inspect and replace the rear seatbacks as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 30, 2021. Nissan’s number for this recall is PC812.
