Volvo To Recall 85,000 Vehicles in the U.S For Fuel Pump Issue

Volvo will recall 2019 and 2020 vehicles from all of its model lines except the XC40 for a potential fuel pump issue that can cause engine stalling. The models under recall are the  S60, S90, V60, V60 Cross Country, V90, V90 Cross Country, XC60, and XC90 involving up to 85,550 vehicles in the U.S.

The report was filed on June 2nd by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and states only 46 vehicles have been reported with the fuel pump issue. Volvo will begin notifying owners August 1st of the recall and the fix is a quick one,  dealers will exchange the 15-amp fuse for a 20-amp part.
