Idaho Auction Marks 20th Anniversary

By Staff Writer March 31, 2021

Dealers Auto Auction of Idaho, a family-run auction, marked 20 years in business with an anniversary celebration on March 17. Dealers enjoyed a catered lunch while bidding on over 600 cars in the lanes. A March Madness Basketball Shoot with over $10,000 in prizes concluded the festivities.

DAA of Idaho ran its first sale on April 4, 2001. This sale took place in the auction’s original building, formerly a manufacturing warehouse. Throughout the ups and downs of the market and the country the last 20 years, Dealers Auto Auction has been able to maintain a stronghold in the Northwest and continue to grow.

In 2003, the auction moved to a brand-new facility sitting on nearly 40 acres. Over the years it has continued to develop more of the land for parking and storage, a new detail facility, updated technology and double blocks. The most recent change entailed adding the sale to Velocicast for a better online buyer experience. The anniversary sale featured consignments from ARI, Element Fleet, LeasePlan USA, Emkay, Westlake Financial, Exeter, Reliable Credit, U-Haul and Idaho Central Credit Union.
