DAA Northwest, Seattle Open In-Lane April Sales

By Staff Writer March 24, 2021

McConkey Auction Group CEO Bob McConkey announced that DAA Northwest’s and DAA Seattle’s auction doors would be opening in-lane sales April 1st and 2nd respectively, one year after the pandemic forced the auctions to close their in-door lanes. While both sales have conducted business digitally since May 2020, neither has run vehicles with dealers in the lanes during the pandemic. DAA Las Vegas, MAG’s Southwest location, has operated in-lane and online auctions throughout the past year.

“Washington State is moving into Phase 3 of re-opening,” said McConkey. "I was thrilled to share our news with dealers before yesterday’s sale here in Spokane. While things will not be the same as they were before COVID – we’ll be wearing masks while we social distance -- we will be doing business in the lanes together and that’s something we’ve been waiting a long time for.”

The auctions will continue offering all vehicles via Edge Simulcast.
