Nissan Recalls Pathfinders

By Staff Writer February 01, 2021

Nissan Pathfinder model years 2013-2015 are being recalled for issues with the brake light switch relay. The faulty relay can cause the lights to stick in the “on” position, according to a report released by the NHTSA. The report observed that "frequent stop-and-go driving with repeated brake pedal input" can cause "chattering" in the light's relay, which can eventually cause it to become stuck.

The recall will be issued on March 1st. Dealers will either fix the relay by reinstalling it in a better position or replace it.
