Jason “Jay” Alba, 47, died unexpectedly on Dec. 20.

Alba was executive director of remarketing operations for Ally Financial, where he worked for 13 years.

He was born in New York City on Nov. 20, 1973 and raised on Staten Island.

Alba graduated from NYU and received an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.

Alba is survived by Patricia, his wife of 18 years; his children, Naomi, Nate and Noah; along with three brothers and several nieces and nephews.
