Carsfast Forms Advisory Board

Tech startup, Carsfast announced the formation of its advisory board to provide strategic guidance and a progressive growth strategy across the USA.

“We are thrilled to have attracted a board of such high caliber, explains Shaun Sumaru, CEO and co-founder of Carsfast. “We are forming the advisory board at an exciting time as we continue to drive our exclusively digital channel strategy forward and build deeper relationships with customers and stakeholders.”

Carsfast has operations in Arizona, Texas and Illinois. Carsfast is a contactless and digital service helping consumers buy and finance their next car.

The board members include Marguerite Watanabe (chair). who founded Connections Insights focusing on strategic partnering among auto finance sources. Watanabe has managed the auto finance practice at BenchMark Consulting, auto related sales at Equifax and strategic partnerships at BarNone.

Also, on the board, Michael Benoit, is the chairman of Hudson Cook, LLP, a nationwide boutique consumer financial services law firm. He and the firm advise industry clients on legal and regulatory compliance and assist CFPB-regulated clients.

Another board member, Anil Goyal, has a background in risk management, marketing, technology, and portfolio optimization. Anil served as executive vice president of analytics, technology and operations of Black Book until early 2020 and is currently the president of Corser, a company he co-founded in 2009. 

Board member Paul Rindone is senior executive at CDK Global and has more than 30 years of automotive experience working with dealers, OEMs, lenders and data, software and analytic providers that improve consumer purchase experiences. 

  • Board member Adem Yilmaz is currently director of enterprise testing technology, analytics and reporting at Wells Fargo.
