Fisker, designer and manufacturer of electric vehicles and advanced mobility solutions, announced the appointment of John Finnucan as chief accounting officer, effective immediately.
“John joins us with an exceptional track record in financial reporting, audit and compliance and will be a key member of our leadership team as we build our company, transition soon to a public company, deliver on our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices, and work toward the launch of our first vehicle,” said Henrik Fisker, chairman and CEO of Fisker Inc.
The company announced earlier this year that it aims to set the standard for ESG reporting and is developing a comprehensive strategy, which will evolve and grow with the company, to best measure Fisker’s impact and progress toward sustainability and creating a cleaner future.
Finnucan brings 28 years of public accounting experience – along with his deep knowledge and understanding of accounting, SEC reporting and SOX compliance. Finnucan joins Fisker after 26 years with Ernst & Young LLP in its audit and national practices. He has held multiple professional practice and market-facing roles in the US and Japan and throughout his career, has led teams and served clients in the technology and automotive OEM sectors.
