Unrealistic Cities Featured

You regularly read about how some area needs to transform itself into whatever is the latest hot spot – Silicon Valley, Brooklyn, etc. The latest example is a piece I read today about turning Indianapolis into Nashville. Unless the city can travel through time and space to make itself more centrally located and create 100 years of major cultural significance, it ain’t gonna happen.

Unfortunately, these campaigns can have a negative impact on the used-car business. One step common in these schemes is limiting or eliminating used-car stores. Better to have a money-losing art studio than a car business that produces tax revenue and serves the community, the thinking goes.
