My kids' favorite show is videos on YouTube. And they are not alone. The age of mass marketing is over and really it didn't last that long. The odd aspect of this is that micro marketing benefits the big players more than the small ones. Amazon now dominates product search. Compare that to Chicago's TV market in the early '60s, when CBS was the No. 4 channel after NBC, ABC and WGN. Being heard in a mass market was hard. Being heard in an age of micro markets is even harder.
