It Works (Sort Of) Featured

Elon Musk is not a fan of daylight savings time. Neither are most people. But some folks still say it's a good idea. But like most defenses of government regulation (and that's what DST is), it's about being good enough despite the pain. "It's a perfectly imperfect, fantastically weird idea with noble intentions," the article says. It reminds me of the movie that best reflects the bureaucratic mindset, "Deep Impact." In the movie, the government sends a crew of astronauts to blow up an asteroid headed for earth. They manage to destroy most of it, so only millions of people die rather than everybody. Hence the term, "Close enough for government work."
