Making Lemonade Featured

A recent article in the WSJ reports that the diesel emissions scandal actually made a woman an even great VW devotee. Anne Curry is quoted as saying the buyback program took less than 20 minutes and "made me even more loyal to the brand."

VW always amazes me. It consistently ranks near the bottom of quality rankings, yet they are perceived as high quality vehicles with the residuals to go along with that. They have a very tainted past. In this scandal, they cheated regulators and poisoned the air. But because their response to the problem they created was efficient, this woman is a more loyal customer.
