Fundraiser for Auction Accident Victims Reaches Goal

Fundraiser for Auction Accident Victims Reaches Goal Featured

Organizers of the fundraiser to benefit the Lynnway Auto Auction accident victims and families have decided to wrap up the successful campaign after achieving their stretch goal of $125,000.
Following the tragedy at the Billerica, Mass., auction in May, the National Auto Auction Association partnered with the Massachusetts Independent Automobile Dealers Association with the aim of raising $100,000. When donations appeared they would soon exceed that original target, a second one was set.
In addition to promoting Massachusetts IADA’s Go Fund Me campaign; NAAA donated $27,500 to the fund, while gifts from the four chapters included $10,000 contributed by the Eastern Chapter and $5,000 each from the Southern, Midwest and Western chapters.
All proceeds go to benefit the victims of the accident or their families.
