Auctions Help Feed Hungry

manheimManheim Minneapolis and Manheim Northstar Minnesota recently completed a month-long food drive in which employees and customers at both locations joined forces to support the community.

Donations were collected at both the Maple Grove and Shakopee locations, with all proceeds going to the CROSS Food Shelf and CAPS organization.  Both organizations are non-profit groups committed to providing food, clothing and other resources to those in need.

Both Manheim locations collected food, hygienic items and monetary donations.   There was even a car donated for auction, which brought $1,000 at the Manheim Minneapolis TRA Sale.  With nearly 2,000 donated items, and $2,300 in monetary donations, the Minnesota Food Drive was a great success.

The drive culminated in a baseball-themed All-Employee lunch at both locations where the auctions celebrated the successful drive and the spring season.
