Northwood University has hired Elgie Bright, a district sales manager at General Motors, for the automotive marketing chair at the schools Midland, Mich., campus.

Bright takes the reins from Joe Lescota, who retired from the school this year and now runs the training programs for the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association.

The program focuses on the various aspects of the automotive marketing function, including dealership advertising, finance and insurance, budgeting and forecasting, parts and service, and used car management.
