State Steps up Lemon Law Actions Featured

The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection’s Lemon Law Program processed 64 cases in 2017.


This resulted in $2.3 million being returned to consumers, a significant increase from previous years.


The state returned $1.5 million in 2016, processing 55 cases.


This is the first time in four years that cases topped 60 and the processed amount topped $2 million.
