Michigan’s Secretary of State recently suspended the license of what appear to be two defunct used-car dealerships.

A consumer complaint led to an attempted inspection of Nass Auto Trading LLC in Dearborn. The facility was found vacated.

The dealership was summarily suspended Nov. 7 for failing to make records available for inspection and failing to adhere to business hours on file with the secretary of state.

The dealership’s repair facility license was also suspended for failing to maintain records for the required period of time and failing to ensure the facility was open to inspection during reasonable business hours.

Three consumer complaints led to two attempted inspections of My Town Auto in Highland Park and, each time, the dealership was not open. The dealership was summarily suspended Nov. 9 for failing to make records available for inspection, failing to adhere to business hours on file with the secretary of state and violating probation.
