A Wisconsin dealership has found a lucrative niche – used golf carts.

Rich Paulson, owner of Paulson Auto Sales, Chippewa Falls, said his store stocks about 35 traditional used cars and trucks.

But it also sells a few gold carts.

“My son is the one who acquires them,” Paulson said.

The main customers are local campgrounds.

Paulson also sells a few off-road vehicles, as well as truck lifts and kits.

“That business is all right,” he said. “It depends on if people have to money to do it.”

For his main used-car business, Paulson mostly carries cars SUVs. The trucks are a little expensive right now, he said.

About 90 percent of the inventory is domestics.
