By Staff Writer July 18, 2018

AutoGravity announced the appointment of Alex Mallmann as president and chief executive officer.

The announcement comes as the company hits a new milestone — reaching more than 2 million users in less than two years since its initial product launch.

Mallmann also joins the AutoGravity Board of Directors as a member of the board.

An automotive-industry veteran and seasoned leader with more than 20 years of experience, Mallmann most recently served as president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Auto Finance China.

Mallmann earned his undergraduate degrees in business administration and management from the International University of Vienna.

AutoGravity also promoted Jason Bonifay to chief technology officer. Bonifay joined AutoGravity in May as vice president of engineering.

Previously, Bonifay served as vice president of development for product and engineering at CDK Global.

Bonifay earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees in engineering from Auburn University.
