Cox Automotive, NextGear Capital and National Quality Dealer of the Year Otto Hahne presented a 2019 Chevrolet Malibu to the American Red Cross – Michigan Region during a ceremony at City of Cars, Hahne’s used-car dealership in Troy, Mich. The Malibu will be used as an emergency response vehicle for the local Red Cross.

This was the ninth emergency vehicle donated to the American Red Cross through Cox Automotive. Since 2015, the company has donated more than $1 million to the American Red Cross to support disaster relief.

Hahne received the keys to the vehicle from NextGear Capital’s Bob Earle, and then handed those keys to Robert Blumenfeld, COO for the Michigan Region of the American Red Cross.

“Having this resource that City of Cars and Cox Automotive have provided, really allows us to deliver hope to people,” Blumenfeld said.

During the event, NextGear employees and other volunteers, prepared “comfort kits” for the American Red Cross.
