The National Auto Auction Association has named Greg Mahugh, retired senior vice president of operations for the McConkey Auction Group, a Warren Young Fellow. NAAA President Chad Bailey presented the honor recognizing his many contributions to the profession and association during the Spokane, Wash., auction’s 24th Annual Rock & Roll Sale in July.

NAAA bestowed the award, along with a $2,500 donation in Mahugh’s name, to NAAA’s nonprofit Warren Young, Sr., Scholastic Foundation. A fellow is a donor at that level, or in whose honor or memory a contribution is made in that amount, to support the scholarship program.

Since its establishment in 2004 the scholastic foundation has helped 180 students pursue dreams of higher education and raised more than $2.3 million. It awards $52,000 in merit scholarships annually.
