Best Picture

Every so often, you see a list of the “best business movies.” Most of these movies are about businessmen behaving badly (“There Will Be Blood”), businessmen behaving criminally (“Wall Street”) or flat-out criminals (“The Godfather”). The best you can hope for is “It’s a Wondeful Life” will be included, but even that movie is about a good businessman vs. a bad one.
There is one movie I’ve never seen on these lists, even though it’s highly regarded and is essentially about man’s business practices. That movie is “Schindler’s List.” Oskar Schindler is man who has to make major ethical decisions at great personal risk. And he makes the right ones.
Put that on your list.
