The partnership is designed to help association members more easily manage customer communication and increase their digital word of mouth. As part of the National Member Benefit partnership, Broadly is offering NIADA members exclusive pricing and terms on the full Broadly product suite.

James Gibson, who led NADA Used Car Guide's data distribution growth and expansion efforts for nearly 20 years, has joined the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association as director of business development.

 He will work closely with NIADA senior vice president of member services Scott Lilja in developing and implementing the association's business partnerships, including the National Corporate Partnership, National Affinity Partnership and National Member Benefit partnership programs.

Gibson headed the Value Added Reseller segment for the Used Car Guide.

When NADA Used Car Guide was acquired by J.D. Power in 2015, Gibson was named director of business development for the data and analytics division of the company and expanded on the success of the business, which recorded double-digit year-over-year growth.

Auction123 has been working closely with NIADA dealers for more than 10 years.

Tax Max has become the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association's latest National Member Benefit partner.

TaxMax will provide NIADA members with exclusive offers for its tax season solutions.

Since 1995, Tax Max has processed more than 1 million tax returns and has helped some 3,000 dealerships nationwide be more successful during tax season by filing their customers' tax returns and forwarding the refund to the dealership to be used as a down payment on a vehicle or to be applied to a past due account.

In addition, Tax Max offers several non-traditional tax programs, including a fourth-quarter early tax season program, a year-round tax season irregular payment program, a collections program, a repair note program and the Drive Now Network tax season leads program. Dealers can also get access to the Tax Max Business Development Center.

Andy Gabler has resigned as president of the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association.

According to press reports, the FBI raided Gabler’s dealership, Lakeside Auto Group in Pennsylavania, and his home, in connection to an ongoing investigation involving bank loans.

In accordance with NIADA Bylaws, Henry Mullinax of Mullinax Auto Sales in Oxford, Ala., has been named president of NIADA and will immediately begin serving the unexpired term vacated by Gabler.

Mullinax was elected NIADA president-elect by the association's board of directors during its annual meeting in June.
